With the fanbox being dropped in Indiana today (I did my graduate studies at Purdue) and the mention of the bomb squad reminded me of a geocaching experience I had in Indiana.
If you don't know what geocaching is, watch this:

Some guy hid a geocache underneath a part of a fountain in the middle of Purdue's campus. My family and I had found it a day or two after it was placed. A week or so later, while on campus I got one of those alerts, telling students to avoid the area around the fountain as there was a possible bomb. The bomb squad was on scene and working on dismantling to bomb. I instantly knew what it was. I didn't know if I should laugh or feel stupid for enjoying a hobby that caused such a scare. I ended up laughing. I was tempted to go down there and offer to dismantle the bomb myself.
I've been stopped by police officers on multiple occasions. My favorite was when the cop said he'd wanted to try geocaching and asked if he could join us.
