This was in 2010, mind you, when they actually beat us for the first time in something like 20 tries.

The student section was loud, but all bark and no bite. They tried to puff up their chests and scream insults, but you could tell they were just as shocked as we were that BYU was losing. Just two years earlier, they cheered loudly at the end of the game when USU scored a TD to only lose by ~21 points instead of ~28.

The only really bad fans at that game were Utah fans (not kidding), drunk and dressed up in Utah gear to jeer BYU. It was pretty pathetic - I think USU and BYU fans all thought the Utah fans by us were idiots.

Another thing that is kind of weird is that everyone is in the same shade of blue, so you don't really know necessarily how many BYU vs. USU fans are around you.
