A dermatologist removes moles. When pathology comes back positive for melanoma
It's time to involve an oncology dermatologist. And like baby broker said, you want a huge gaping hole. As one with 2 such holes and because of the huge holes, I have an excellent long term prognosis. One scar is 4" long and the other is almost 6".
Having said that, neither were on my face so I couldn't care less abou the scar.
