Currently have Verizon, but they have the stigma of giving you no kind of deal if they already have you in their clutches, even in a move situation. Not sure how valid that is.
Can switch to Comcast, but well, they're Satan.

Don't want a contract (just in case we do want/need to jump ship to the other one), plus, well likely only be in our new place one year, so I don't want to deal with the hassle of lying to them that I'm moving out of the country on an expat assignment to get then to cancel year two.

Any deals you've heard about lately? I'm in Northern Virginia if that helps.
