Best VOIP solution to replace existing landline?
I keep hearing about lots of different VOIP (Voice Over IP) solutions that people are using. Ooma, Vonage, MagicJack, Comcast, etc, etc.

Any recommendations, suggestions?

I am not looking for necessarily the absolute cheapest solution. My father switched to MagicJack because it is so cheap - but he has had issues with it so I'm concerned about service and quality also.

We are currently paying $40+ for local phone service (no long distance) and have kept it mainly because my wife is worried about service during power outages and 911 service. I think I've convinced her that with our cellphones we will have just about as good of service as with a traditional landline. Long distance service is not that big of a criteria given that we do practically all of our long-distance calling via cells. I know we can get a good product for less - just looking for suggestions/input.
