We have had the same phone # for the house for 30 years. No way do I want all our local calls coming on our cellphones. To be honest - the vast majority of local calls are church members (ward and stake). I want to have that separate device to collect (and screen) all the local calls. I am very, very picky about who I give my cell # to. I am not going to publish that to the ward and world. It is worth the extra cost for me and my wife.
