I love BYU as much as the next guy, but it would be hard not to look at Stanford

A free Stanford education is tough to come by. BYU undergrad can give you as good of an education as Stanford (BYU undergrad classes are taught by actual professors, rather than MS/PhD candidates), but that Stanford degree carries more clout than a BYU degree. This is especially true if you don't have graduate plans.
