All three played both basketball and football in high school. IMO, Sumsion was by far the most skilled of the three (in both sports). He and Kaufusi both garnered second team all state nods in hoops, but Sumsion was the more polished player, imo. Sumsion and Jorgensen were first team all state football players. Kaufusi received no football awards.
Jorgensen was/is the better athlete in the running/jumping sense but not extremely skilled. He'd be better on defense than at TE. Sumsion is listed as a TE on BYU's site. I like Sumsion a lot, but I wonder if he's too much of a tweener. Tall enough to play OT but only weighs 250 --- probably not fast enough to be a receiving-threat TE. He'll probably get bounced around between positions while at BYU. There's time for him to settle in somewhere, I guess.
