Has anyone had any experience with this breed that could share their opinion? They are an absolutely beautiful dog but from the research I have done, they have their quirks and aren't for everyone. Including tons of fur and you aren't supposed to ever take the dog off leash when outside the yard or home.

Is a husky going to be worth the hassle and dealing with the minor quirks or should I go with a tried and true lab that may be a little less maintenance?
