My brother showed me that chili mangos and beef jerky are not a proper pre-flight meal for a direct flight from LA to Moscow. Thinking back to that horrid, pungent 13 hour experience made me wonder if stewards on the plane are required to not eat certain foods to prevent a gas attack mid-air?

Anyway, what are your recommended pre-flight meals not to eat?
