2lbs ground beef
1tbsp minced onion
1tsp garlic powder
1tsp onion powder
1tsp liquid smoke
1tsp cayenne pepper
1tsp black pepper
1tbsp A1
1tbsp worchestershire sauce
1tsp parsley

Make your patties out of that, let sit at room temp for about 30 min before you put on the grill. Key is not to get over-touchy with the meat, so limit it as much as possible - alas, we're guys, so that's difficult to do.
