Most of the TV cameras are in the press box on the west side. The cameras will always have the BYU sideline in frame.

I don't think there is a camera on the east side, I think to get a shot of the visiting team they have to use the cameras in the South stands.

Also, I don't think the sun is beating on the home team and not the visitors for hours. How long does it take the shadow to go the 70ish yards that would be covering the visitors before covering the home team as well? 30 minutes?

Finally, the BYU locker room is under the East stands and the visitor's is under the West stands.
