I bought a new pool table a few months ago. The delivery company screwed up and lost the box with the legs, so Amazon had to send out another box. But, to compensate me for the hassle, they credited back $100.
The table gets used A LOT by my kids and their friends. A few nails have started to pop up, which I'll need to get repaired eventually. I emailed Amazon to inform them of the problem, they immediately responded and offered to credit me back $200 to offset the cost if getting the table repaired. Here's the thing - they offered it with no questions asked and no need for me to provide proof.
I'm a Prime member and I buy a ton of crap.
