Odds are not good, but I'd rather sit home than be in a psuedo NIT football

tournament with the little kids. Perception is huge in college football and if we did something like that, it would put a huge damper on our reputation. It would solidify people's thinking that we are with the little kids. Look forward, not backward.

The NIT is very different. It includes schools from all conferences, big boy conferences and little kid conferences alike.
