well he'd say it takes a lot out of the players too. everyone gets so
emitionally jacked up for that game as their superbowl that they forget they have a pac 12 game the next week that actually matters more to their season, and to the coach's job security.
kyle felt the game was too emotional and affected the week before and the week after, and maybe several weeks after, even if utah wins. and since its not a league game its not worth it.
