In case you didn't see the list, it's a list of the best UTAH JAZZ draft picks. Even though Drexler was taken at #14 while Thurl was taken at #7, the Jazz did make a very good pick by selecting Thurl. Russell Cross was taking by the Warriors right before the Jazz picked, and he only played 45 games in the NBA. Russell was on the list as a 2nd round pick but he only played so much because the Jazz just weren't very good at building a roster around Malone and Stockton. Russell was at best an average player and likely below average.
