Is horrible once you get south of Sacramento. No cruise control for the last 8 hours of your trip. The 15 North at Barstow can literally be stop and go traffic for 150 miles if you are going on a weekend or holiday. You also have the stench of the cows in the Central Valley which on hot days is almost unbearable.
