Bon Jovi had the hair, for sure, but they don't fit the rest of the description. Maybe you could say that they and some of the others had hair metal phases, but I doubt the members of any of those bands would classify themselves as hair bands. They're definitely closer than Metallica. But I wouldn't classify them the same as Poison, Warrant, Cinderella, and Motley Crue.
