My oldest will be leaving for college and I am mandating that his XBox console go with him. MisterP's post got me thinking that instead of making no allowances for game consoles (my preference), that I should get a console and install it with restrictions. The kids are familiar with XBox and XBox games, but most of the games they played are shooter games that I would just as soon eliminate and bring the ratings down just a notch. So even though XBox is what they are familiar with, I am thinking that its not going to matter with the new lineup of games they will have available. So what is CB's opinion on Game Consoles? What console would you get and why?
