The main reason Jamaal only had 12 carries wasn't the score
Your second reason is the main reason. It's that the OL did nothing for him, and it got worse as the game went on. He had 19 yards on his first 5 carries and 12 yards on his last 7, including 5 yards on 4 2nd half carries.
