I've now heard from a BYU coach (not football)

That BYU was in talks with the B12 before TCU was invited and we were hung up on BYUtv so the B12 just said yewt it, and invited TCU. I think most figured this anyways but now that I have confirmed it, I just hope whoever was making the decisions at the time knew what they were doing.
