built for immediate broadcasting and viewing. They did not want to wait 72 hours to rebroadcast. They wanted to be able to do it right away with more control than the Big 12 wanted to allow. BYU did not like being told what to do with what they believe is "their" content. Just not a very conference friendly attitude.

A lot of it can be blamed on their experience in the MWC and how stifled they were by the other conference members. Personally I think they overreacted and should have been a little more measured in dealing with a conference. Water under the bridge at this point.
