Of the many, two possible scenarios:
Scenario 1:
Hill starts off hitting passes from the beginning of the UConn game. BYU has a comfortable lead and Hill nearly 300 yards passing and 100 rushing in the first half. Hill watches most of the second half from the sideline as do most of the starters as BYU cruises to a very comfortable and seemingly effortless win.

The Texans come out fighting mad. They are frustrated time again in their attempt to get to Hill as sometimes he scrambles and sometimes he dumps the ball off to a running back for a substantial game. BYU has a 2 touchdown lead and starts the second half with a prolonged touchdown drive. Texas is visibly deflated finding themselves down by three touchdowns and BYU coasts the rest of the way. Hill is able to sit much of the fourth quarter.

Houston is never really in the game. BYU sprints out of the gate and never looks back

Virginia profoundly regrets ever leaving home. The loss is so bad that even their mothers won’t meet them at the airport.

Utah State is Utah State. It is a hard fought contest (for the first quarter) that BYU wins by a comfortable margin. Hill gets another 4th quarter off.

Central Florida is a fight but BYU pulls it out late igniting the “Hill for Heisman” campaign.

Nevada never saw it coming. They drop behind so far so fast that the rush to the parking lot starts in the 3rd quarter. Hill gets 300+ yards and 1.5 quarters off.

Boise St is not as good as advertised but Hill is. Passing for 400 yards and rushing for 100. The Heisman hype starts in earnest (wherever that is).

Middle Tennessee is like a moth hitting the windshield at freeway speeds.

UNLV reminds us why BYU loves to play them.

Savannah St. escapes with a lot of money and only a few injuries.

Cal’s hopes for a good season were gone by mid-season. They mail this one in and BYU crushes them.

Fans go mad but feel disillusioned when BYU is invited to a major bowl but not the playoffs. The treatment BYU receives starts a nation-wide debate about cartel business practices – but nothing comes of it. BYU ends the season ranked #2 much to the chagrin of BYU and Utah fans.

Scenario 1:
Hill is injured early in the UConn game. Stewart is relatively ineffective. BYU limps through to a close loss.

Hill is pronounced gone for the season. Stewart is crowned the starter but no one believes in him. Ineffective, he is replaced by the third-string QB half way through the Texas game. The new QB doesn’t look bad, but he doesn’t look good either. The linebacking crew shows its inexperience. Kafusi is put back on the d-line as a failed experiment. Williams is injured for the season to start the second half and BYU loses by 20.

Reeling, BYU stumbles into the Houston game and catches a red-hot Houston for their third straight loss.

The new QB and the remaining running backs shine as BYU crushes Virginia and everyone starts cautiously hoping BYU will be able to make something of the season.

Chuckie gets his revenge sending Utah St. fans into a level of rapture they have never before legally experienced.

Central Florida is better than advertised. BYU is 1-5.

NV is a close win. (2-5)

Boise St. is a close loss. (2-6) BYU’s string of bowls is in jeopardy. The fans have a hard time caring. They’re already psyched for b-ball season and the coming of “King Kafusi.”

Middle Tennessee is still Middle Tennessee and BYU is 3-6, keeping its slight bowl hopes alive.

UNLV helps BYU feel a little better (4-6).

Savannah St.is still grateful for the money. (5-6)

Cal is hot. They, like BYU, need the win for a bowl game. BYU is worn out and Cal goes to a bowl while 5-7 BYU does not.

A few injuries here and there and a fantastic season ends in disaster. Fans on Cougarboard are calling for the heads of the coaches, as though they could have prevented the injuries. “Why didn’t they prepare adequate backups for Hill and Williams,” they reason.
