When the Pac 10 decided to expand and take Colorado who was the

other team going to be? Did Whitt take them to the Pac 10 or did the Pac 10 only have one option?

I am not doubting how Whitt continued what Meyer started but he is not he reason Utah is in the Pac 12. If Utah had continue losing they may well have been invited because the Pac 10 didn't have any other choices.

We all know BYU was never an option.
