Guy in our ward that was diagnosed with cancer 2 months ago probably won't make

it the week. Even though he's in his late 40s, he's going to leave behind 3 small kids and no life insurance. He'll be the second guy in our ward that's passed that leaves a family without life insurance.

Guys, if you don't have insurance, get some. A long term with enough to cover your debts and at least 2-3 years of cash to live off of. If you're in your 30s and healthy, you're only talking about $30-40 a month for a good amount of insurance. Get a long term - 20 years if your in you're 30s, 30 years if you're in your 20s. My 10 year term expired 9 months after I had a blood clot in my leg and pulminary embolisms and now my monthly premium on $1M is over $120 a month. I'm kicking myself that I didn't get a 30 year back when we originally signed up.
