Weird car problem. Help please!
Just got back from a long trip where our AC in the Suburban started making a horrible noise. Had a mechanic try to fix it in St. Louis, but he didn't. We had to go, so limped home. Made an appointment with our mechanic to take it in tomorrow. Today, my wife called me at work to say the battery was dead. I got home, jumped it easily, and the battery checks out ok.

That's when I discovered the rear blower motor keeps running, even with the ignition off. Obviously that is running the battery down over night. I tried pulling fuses to get it to shut off, but it won't (only two fuses in the manual show they have something to do with AC or climate control).

How do I get that thing to shut off? It will likely run down the battery again by tomorrow morning. I'm about to the point of pulling the side panel to disconnect the blower motor. Is that my best option?

Thanks!
