I think as fans our expectations are relatively low. (I doubt there is even one person that thinks he will ever be in an all start game)
Next, he will be the team all through the training camps, coach, will have time to practice with team, and coach before season starts, and actually expected to have some time. Familiarity with John Salmons, Tyreke Evans, and having Anthony Davis to kick balls out to him? Fans in New Orleans actually think Davis is a contender for MVP. Plus, if you get beat, not many guys in the league is it better to have behind you than ANTHONY DAVIS.
