My wife and I are from diff parts of CA, our family ward here in Lehi we have been in for the last 5 years is mostly a make up of people that have family in the area so they are often doing things with them. Only on a couple occasions have we done things with families we are friends with, they are always busy doing things with their families. Everyone is nice and our kids play a ton with their kids but in terms of coming over for dinner or having a game night most families are not interested.
