I think this guy was overlooked for one simple reason: he carries his weight high, & doesn't have the huge legs one typically wants in a DT. That said, the guy is very short-legged, long-armed, with an ENORMOUS upper body and can. He's a bear-sized bulldog. IOWs, his center of gravity is low I think, despite his high build. While he's probably not a guy who's gonna get much if any push, I don't see him getting pushed around, either. And I like his chances with that upper body to shift himself around his opponent to disrupt the run.
He's also very nimble on his feet, & has a great nose for the ball. I think he's a potential steal--& right from the middle of FB country. Much like Tejan. Both were overlooked simply cuz their freakishness didn't come in the preferred package. They are just the sort of guys our coaches need to take chances on--at least a few in every class.
