Excel Question
lets say that I have a three cells in a row that looks like this: [4s,5n] [8s,6n] [1s,9n]

Can i formulate an equation that pulls the 4, 8, and 1 apart from the s and then creates the sum as 13 and then do the same with the n's?

I know that i can just separate the cells and do a normal sum but it would be easier if I could just enter them in the same cell.

TIA
