Remember that favorite Star Wars figure you had as a kid? The one you didn't like to play with very much because you wanted to preserve him? In my case it was a shiny gold C3PO. I was really careful with him because I knew that the more I played with him the looser his joints were going to get until he got the point that he wouldn't even be able to hold a pose anymore, and he'd just fall down like a sack of jelly.
