ummm no it's not.

I was a full scholarship athlete at BYU and I had no issue with Ty Detmer going on to sign an NFL contract.

I knew going in that my sport was not a revenue sport and was grateful for the opportunity to be there.

Detmer's sport dictated his future compensation potential and the vast majority of his teammates never made the NFL.

That said, his teammates did get a free and (potentially good) education, travel (nice travel, btw- thanks to the Marriot family), gear, accolades, etc.

Don't get me started.
