Let's see, 5 conferences for 4 playoff spots. Hmmmmmmm, I wonder if that will cause any problems? Add in the teams like BYU and conference champions from the AAC and the MWC etc. and it will only make sense to expand to 8.

They have airport issues though. Provo does not.
