We were talking about UT football and their team this year. Then he asked me who I root for. When I said BYU, he just stopped talking, and slowly shook his head for a few seconds. He then said he's watched every Longhorn game for over 20 years and he's never seen anything like the BYU game last year. He said he's seen Texas play against plenty of elite running backs, but he's never seen anyone light them up like Taysom Hill did. He said he was speechless watching Taysom run past the secondary over and over again. I sympathized with him and said they will probably kick our yewts this year (I don't really believe this). Then he said he highly doubts that. He just hopes the game is competitive this year.

It's crazy what that one game has done for us. If we manage to beat UConn and repeat last year's performance vs. UT, we'll be VERY much in national conversation. Great opportunity for this team.
