We are busy people and usually don't have time to drop everything and go on vacation. But with our membership we schedule our week long trip a year in advance. Then when the vacation time comes around, we actually go because it's already booked and paid for.

We really have created great memories with our kids during the 6 years or so we've had it. We've stayed at nice places in Aneheim (a couple of Disneyland trips); Cabo, Mexico; Depoe Bay, OR; Seaside, OR; Discovery Bay, WA; Victoria, BC; St. George; Wolf Creek; Midway; Steamboat Springs, CO; and Granby, CO. We've also given away or arranged for cheap rentals for our family and friends for special occasions.

We've built great memories being together that I wouldn't trade for anything. Could I find something more cost effective? Maybe I guess, but it really works for us. And for a family it's a pretty cost effective way to travel.
