Quick report from the scrimmage.
First of all that was the best Dickey's BBQ I've had. Never really been impressed with it, but it was decent today. Maybe that's just because it came with football.

Turns out, a lot of the best players are getting held out of practice. And with good reason apparently. Within a few series, Jamaal Williams went down with a knee injury. He was helped off the field by trainers after a couple minutes on the ground. No word as to prognosis. After that Nate Carter and Algernon Brown took all the snaps at RB.

Of the WR, mostly #83, David Kessler had a decent day. He seemed to be targeted the most. Taysom looked really good throwing. Stewart did too, but got picked once and threw into coverage a number of times. Sorry to all the whiners, but Taysom is clearly the man.

Fua and Kaufusi played a few downs, but not much. They really mixed lineups around on D. Mostly they rotated all of the second stringers into various positions. TakiTaki actual I played safety for quite a while. Second string LB's played most of the time. No sign of Langi.

The Oline looked good again. I'm starting to get my hopes up for these guys, but I also think our DLine may be only serviceable and that is a big part of it.

Kick returns were taken by Hine and Lasike. Punt returns were taken mainly by Nelson, but also by Blackmon and Leslie. Speaking of Blackmon, he had a pretty sweet one hand catch.

I would have thought they'd be more set in line ups by now. Maybe that's tomorrow since their starting game planning and media is no longer allowed.
