P5 vs. non-P5: A Tale of Two Leagues?

In 5 more years, if this autonomy thing goes through, I think we will see the biggest divide between the "Have's" and "Have-not's". Do you think the non-P5 will, in reality, be relegated to a somewhat high level of FCS? In all likelihood, Idaho, NM St., etc. will either have to drop football all together or move down to FCS status. I'm not sure why Idaho has not done that already other than the fact that it would mean that they could not hack it, unlike BSU. To me, the whole thing is a little infuriating and sad in the fact that it is such a selfish move by the SEC, ACC, Big12, and the B1G, and Pac12. Part of me wants to say how dare you destroy athletic programs at other schools and take away the myriad of educational opportunities for thousands of athletes who weren't recruited by the P5 schools? The other part of me knows that this is capitalism in its purest form. It's almost Darwinistic in terms of the survival of the fittest. What isn't Darwinistic about it, is the likes of the Iowa States, Vanderbilts, Washington States, and Indianas of the P5 getting a free ride because they belong to the elite club, though they are hardly elite themselves. It's both socialistic and capitalistic, it seems.
