TIC posts are for the most part fun until it involes an individual's future
TIC posts can be fun and bring a smile when read...

However, when a player is injured or has made a mistake the TIC posts are no longer funny. I have read posts today regarding a potential injury to Jamaal. Some have been appropriate and written with concern. Others have been written under the umbrella of TIC. These appear to have been written by school boys. You know the type, those that stand in the back of the room giggling all day long in an attempt to build themselves up and draw attention to themselves.

Before we post about injuries and futures of young men and women (myself included), we should put ourselves in the shoes of the athlete or his/her family. How would a responsible person feel if someone had made the same or similar comments that have been posted regarding Jamaal's potential injury towards their own son or daughter? How might a recruit and his/her family react to a fan base that is callused and uncaring? Perhaps the TIC post wouldn't be so funny then?

Here is hoping for a non-serious injury with a very quick recovery!
