Worse case scenario for BYU's inclusion into the Big 12 would be a 1 loss Big 12 team (Oklahoma) getting into the playoff. In that way the Big 12 will have convinced themselves even more that their 10 team league is fine just the way it is. Braxton Miller's shoulder injury just took out one of the major contenders for one of those playoff spots. With a potentially weaker Big 10 candidate for the playoff it leaves the door wide open for a Big 12 team to slip right in without a CCG.
