TH in KSL interview: "We are not going to keep up with the Joneses
in every single area." He said this in reference to the stipend issues for college athletes in connection with P5 autonomy.
I think this reflects a failure in BYU's thinking in terms of positioning itself to enter a P5 conference.
BYU cannot simply expect to keep partially reacting to changes and shifts without a proactive vision in place.
Times are dire. BYU needs to be committed to meeting all P5 autonomy changes to actively advertise that it belongs (i.e. in the Big XII).
I am worried about this latest interview.
