Our annual ins. cost would have increased $6,000/year so here's what we did:

We joined a religious-based insurance co-op that provides catastrophic coverage and is compliant with ObamaCare requirements. It was actually fairly affordable and at the same time it gives ObamaCare the finger. (I won't specify which finger as this is CB). But so far we're very happy with it.
