But you're right. Unfortunately, in addition to some innovation, he also picked up the tendency to chase his tail from Crowton. There simply was no real identity. Granted, he was contending with Heaps who didn't have the psyche at that time and Nelson who didn't have the physical talent...and the guys behind them offered no salvation. But Doman really couldn't seem to find a philosophy.
