We really hated DLS when I was in High School. It is hard for me to support a movie about a high school of spoiled kids. I'm sure much of the movie is Hollywoodized. Most of the kids that went there were just spoiled rich kids.

Because they recruited their players and gave scholarships, they could have any athlete they wanted. It created an unfair advantage against the surrounding public schoools and that is part of the reason they went independent.

I will say that I have never heard anything but good things about their coach and in reality, we were very jealous of them because they always won.
