Why are people convinced that BYU won't pay stipends?
Granted, I got my impression from listening to TH directly and not through local media reports of what they perceived or from CB so maybe I missed something? TH seemed pretty specific that BYU will be competitive. He made it sound like we will be more competitive than many in the P5.
It seems the "not keeping up with the Joneses" comment is getting way too much out-of-context play to me. That was more of a statement that BYU will do what it takes to be competitive but won't just run after every news report and trend that every school puts out without making informed decisions.
What am I missing?
