Today I watched a video from a young man, 26, who has had ALS run in his family. He took the challenge and shared some of the challenges he has faced since being diagnosed last year, his Mom was diagnosed 5 years ago and the video also showed what treatment she has to go through daily.

It was something I had previously heard about, but until the Ice Bucket Challenge had gone viral I really didn't know much about it.
