Never sit in the 1st base grand stands unless you are in the first town rows. After that it gets bad really fast. I've spent big bucks for tickets there and always felt claustrophobic and there are a ton of obstructed views. I think the monster seats are bigger too. The view is incredible. I've only been there during a Fenway tour. I do hear the right field roof seats are cool. You have 4 seats around a table facing the field. My brother swears by the monster seats but I'm ok with the bleachers.
