I love Anae's intreview today. Jay Drew asked which positions would be shown on
a depth chart if he were making one. Anae said something like, having a 2RB-3WR formation is one starting line-up, 1RB-4WR is another starting line-up, 3RB-2WR is another starting line-up, 2RB-1TE-2WR is another starting line-up, 2-TE-2RB-1WR, is another starting line-up, etc.

I would love if the depth chart showed like 16 positions on it, even though it never will, cause what Anae said is true. You might not be the starting TE but in a goal line situation you are considered a starting TE in a formation that has a TE lined up next to both the LT and RT, etc.

He also said our offense is one of the most unique in the country in that we are one of the only schools that has so many multiple formations while going no huddle and at such a fast pace, with no play book for the players to learn from.

This is just going off memory after hearing it on the radio so I'll have to go back and listen to it again to make sure I got most of that basically right.
