My wife just fell victim to a scam.
My wife just got a call from one of those "Windows Service Center" scams and ignored the red flags going off in the back of her head. She downloaded software and they were able to access her computer remotely. They then tried to get personal data from her, which she did not give. What do we do now? I'm not tech savy at all and could really use some help here. Do we need to change all our email / bank passwords? How do we get rid of the unwanted software on her computer? What extent do we need to go to now to protect ourselves? TIA.
