Or something else creating circulation issues. We put ceiling fans in each room upstairs but living in AZ we don't have the humidity issues you guys have so it's easier to cool indoors. Having the wrong filters can also restrict airflow, try using the thinnest cheapest filter for your system to help prevent freezing up or lack if airflow.
