I was basically saying that's what some people believe; those who subscribe to this particular urban legend. I kind of just restated their own opinion but I also unintentionally made it sound like it was my opinion as well and coming from me. I guess I didn't write that very well.
However with the Honor Code in place, it's pretty obvious that the administration doesn't trust BYU students as much as they'd like to. These are 18-24 year old college kids we're talking about. Of course, they're gonna make the same dumb mistakes that a lot of other students at other universities make as well.
